Chrysanthemum Jane Hughes, who goes strictly by her middle name Jane, is a completely normal girl. Or at least, she was. She came from an all-magic family, and the only person surprised when Jane was sorted into Slytherin, was Jane. Her parents were happy, she had good friends, and everything was perfect. Until the summer before her third year at Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry, when everything fell apart. She had never felt like she belonged, except for with Angelina. Now, Angelina was gone, a killer was on the loose, and the only person who seemed to understand Angelina happened to be the boy she had sworn to never befriend... Draco Malfoy. Will she be willing to risk everybody's opinions of her for a boy who she believes is simply misunderstood? Will it even be worth it if he is too afraid to love? Most importantly, when it seems there is no place where Draco and Jane belong, will they be able to find a sense of belonging within each other? Most of the characters and plotline are by J.K. The story of Adelaide Lestrange, a distant descendent of the well-known Lestrange family. Many years ago before what the Lestrange family tree shows, two brothers parted ways. One going to England and the other remaining in France. Adelaide is of the 'french' line and has attended Beauxbatons for the last two years, but a job opportunity for her parents brings her to Hogwarts in her third year. There she meets Draco Malfoy and the story of their time together begins at Hogwarts. They will learn what it means to trust, and love while dealing with outside powers that will try to pull them apart. Coming to terms with strange powers and fighting against old ones returned, Voldemort. A Draco fanfiction I've had in my mind for years now that I'm finally getting the nerve to put into words. I'm only in the beginning stages of the work but I believe if I don't put something out I will never post it. This is how I have envisioned the story as is.
