We just finished this project in school, and I was assigned the task of writing from a female, modern day Holden's point of view. So here it is! Hope you enjoy! :D

This story takes place after the events of Liv and Maddie. Liv has finally moved to New York so she can be on Broadway. She's in a new city with no real friends and she remembers Holden's words to her. This is a dialogue that I had to make for school and everyone who read it loved it, so I thought I would share it here. I took two characters that I love and put them in the perspective of what I think would be their opinions on the philosophic question, that he who knows right, does right. With the use of the Socratic method, Holden Caulfield ("The Catcher in the Rye" by J.D Salinger) and Atticus Finch ("To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee) debate if that statement is really true. It takes place in court if Holden ever got caught "sleeping" with the prostitute in The Catcher in the Rye. The timeline is not super precise but the goal was that it was around the same time as Harper Lee's second novel, "Go Set a Watchman," and after "Catcher in the Rye."
