This is the second time I've have survived a car accident. First one was where a car hit me and in the second one, I was in the car that got hit by truck. "I won't let them take you, I promise," promising what in particular? Not a clue. Sweat trinkled down my forehead in beady intervals. I was supposed to protect him- protect us from whoever was coming. Whatever was coming. "Oh James..." he dragged, stepping back tentatively.
