He doesn't pay attention to him at first, but curiosity wins him over as he is stuck overnight at his grandfather's house with nothing but time to kill. He locks himself in his room to listen to it, only to find a girl speaking back to him when he spoke aloud that very night. Stuck in it is Violet Hemmingway.
