It's a couple months after the whole deal with Fittes, and Lockwood and Co. is back to business. And business is going well--they're one of the most popular agencies in London. The rising incomes and newfound fame allows them to have the occasional time off, too. They're doing fine. Great, actually. Except for the fact that Anthony James Lockwood appears to be head over heels for Lucy Joan Carlyle, and soon, that might become a problem.

Lucy Carlyle moves to a new school, where she meets Anthony Lockwood (the most popular boy in school), his right-hand man George Cubbins, and Holly Munro (student body president and popular kid). High school's hard, but it's going to get even harder for Lucy after she gets on Holly's radar.

This fanfic elaborates more on Lockwood's interaction with La Belle Dame. In the books, Lucy asks Lockwood about what he was thinking when La Belle Dame came to him and he said that he forgot. Well, this story answers that question! Note that I don't own Lockwood & Co. or any of its characters. The Lockwood & Co. series belongs to my favorite author, Jonathan Stroud :)

The festive mood is dampened slightly by this but Lockwood won't let it spoil the fun. After all, he has a very important question to ask her. Part 2 of The Living Ghost extended universe. A cluster of hauntings in a decrepit manor and the dripping spectre of a woman dressed all in black hits a little too close to home for Lockwood & Co's newest member.

I was rereading book three, and honestly, I just don't think those kids get traumatised enough in Aickmere's. So here I am providing some good ol' fashioned angst, with hopefully some fluff and whatnot. This is going to be two parts. SPOILERS IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THE BOOKS!!
