It starts after beginning of the final battle between Fittes and Lockwood and Co. and the aftermath- which ends up being crazy but yeah... anyway, onto the story Now in the Wattys! Set a month or so after the last Lockwood & Co. book (The Empty Grave). For reference, in this fic Quill has a 'flatmate' called Archie and Holly's flatmate is called Georgia (I've already gotten used to using that name, but I might come back and change it at a later date if that's confusing). DISCLAIMER most of these characters belong to Jonathan Stroud.

I was rereading book three, and honestly, I just don't think those kids get traumatised enough in Aickmere's. So here I am providing some good ol' fashioned angst, with hopefully some fluff and whatnot. This is going to be two parts. SPOILERS IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THE BOOKS!! Here's a fanfic about a case Lockwood & Co. take on during the time that Lucy had quit the company. I really wanted to write something about how the members of the team were affected by Lucy's absence. Note that I don't own Lockwood & Co. or any of its characters. The Lockwood & Co. series belongs to my favorite author, Jonathan Stroud :)

Part 1 of The Living Ghost extended universe. "I leave for one minute and you let me get nicked again." "You were gone for a week!" "Yeah, whatever. Some friend you are." Lucy comes home to find the skull missing. On their quest to get him back, Lockwood & Co. discover that the secret to eternal youth might not have been the only thing the Orpheus Society were striving towards.

When out on a case, things get really out of hand for Lockwood & Co and Lucy ends up in the hospital.

There was something different about him, maybe his scent of cinnamon, maybe his dashing, charming, grins. Whatever it was, Lucy Carlyle was all for it.

But the ghost has a specific type of prey and a special way to capture them. Lockwood must find a way to keep his stubborn associates safe, but how can you save someone that does not listen to you, even when you're their boss?! ---------------- Basically what happened with La Belle Sans Mercy but in reverse. This fic is made with the sole purpose of dealing and possibly kill Writer's Block, so it may be a little crappy and trashy. Lucy Carlyle and Anthony Lockwood... they might be my favourite ship ever. I read the first book almost a decade ago, and I'm pretty sure they were the first ship I read on wattpad. I've recently been seeing edits of the show on tiktok, and it's kinda fuelled my fangirl heart for Locklyle / Lucewood. I'm also really bored and need to start writing again... I have no idea what's going to happen in this book because I'm writing it as I go, but just know there'll definitely be lots of Locklyle 😈. I think I've read just about every ff on wattpad about them (still need to search ao3). Anyways, this will probably be set around book 3...? Also keep in mind I haven't read the books in a while so not everything may be accurate!! Thank you for reading ☺️ (pls read it'll make me happy)

Nothing really bothered Lucy Carlyle anymore. The amount of ghosts she heard daily started declining after Lockwood and Co. defeated Penelope Fittes. But one girl never really left her line of sight. Lucy saw that ghost almost everywhere she went: in alleyways, dark streets, the shore of River Thames. She soon realises that the girl is familiar to her, Lucy had seen her in missing posters. This is my first work and I'd consider it practice, felt slightly inspired by the movie "flashback".
