Living on the streets is never fun, especially if you're a Jew during the Holocaust. Kayla is used to a rough life, but it's about to get ten times worse. Will she have the strength to survive?

(PLEASE READ) This short story is based on one of the first bomings of Hamburg carried out by the in August of the attack during the last week of July 1943. This would be the first attack of a nonstop 2 week bombing of the biggest city. They used many tactics, the dry spell and humid air being the main player in how the firestorms moved so fast across the biggest port city. Operation Gomorrah, created one of the largest firestorms raised by the Royal Air Force and United States Army Air Forces in World War II, killing an estimated 34,000 people in Hamburg, wounding 180,000 more, and destroying 60% of the city's houses. Hamburg was selected as a target because it was considered particularly susceptible to attack with incendiaries, (basically big boy bombs) I picked this because so many lives were lost, so many stories that would never get to be told. Love hidden between the streets, kindness shared by neighbors. Stories that very well may have happened. This is my first time writing historical fiction, so I deeply apologize for any inaccuracies or offense to anyone of these cultures. While attending a K-pop concert, she spots the soldier who saved her years ago. The faint glow of the Artemis mark on his collarbone signals a critical turning point, suggesting the end of her solitary, hunted life and the potential to finally understand her destiny.

It's the year 2025, ever since the new president was elected mutant kind have been treated like dirt, and things just keep getting worse and worse. All of the mutants are being collected and taken to camps, concentration camps, they go in but they never come out. What's happening to them? And will a group of mutants be able to to stop it before it's too late? Or will they die trying? Read to find out. (I finished reading the boy in striped pajamas and cried a little, so I decided to write about the holocaust)

She watches a man be beat to death, and she watches as all her friends turn against her. She watches as everyone she truly loves die and she is stuck by herself, will she survive or will Hitler claim her life as well? In 1933 Germany, Adeline Sommer and Esther Goldberg are the best of friends. One little problem though- Esther is Jewish. Adeline doesn't care, but it seems as if the rest of the world does. It soon becomes apparent that Berlin is no longer safe for Esther, and that their friendship is actually endangering Adeline's life. As if fighting for their friendship wasn't hard enough already, it seems nearly impossible when a protective Nazi officer enters the scene.
