Things simply have not been the same since Halloween. Holt and Jackson have been trying to ignore the negative affects they have endured since the "Trick or Treatment Incident" (which is what everyone at school has been calling it) for the last month. However, as time goes on, those closest to the two gradually begin to pick up on the changes that have slowly surfaced since the event, which begins to raise suspicion and worry in regard to the two.

Jackson & Holt really should've known their first day at High School, at any school in years, couldn't have gone as well as it had started. Or, Jackson & Holt start school at Monster High and immediately befriend the Popular Kids unintentionally.
