A young dryad decides to venture out into the world but then tragedy strikes... She looses her reason for living and becomes a disgrace among her people. I say "Obvious Inspiration Is Obvious" because this is a picture of my friend, Tree. We've had crazy amounts of rain where I live and this is one of the casualties. So here's to honoring what is probably his memory, and here's to my human friends who let me grieve a plant. This is a work of fiction. "Amaya, why did Mommy leave us?" Tori looked up to me, tears gathering in her eyes. As she locked her hands together, knuckles white, I knew I couldn't tell her the truth.
