They looked at him like he was nothing. A dog with not a bit of bark nor a scrap of bite. The feral at the pound set to be put down at dusk. His strength was inconsequential, his wit insignificant. A mutt such as he had no place in their ranks. For lesser followed his name. He was an heir. One of two. The one destined to die at the hands of his depraved brother. As the second born, Jackson knew he would never lead the clan. It was his place to receive the death of a challenger once his elder brother inherited the title of Alpha. But he didn't mind. He would die as he lived. Gratefully. That's what he thought, at least... Until he found her. A sick little human, hidden away from the world. He stumbled upon her, and discovered refuge in her peace. She was an innocent relief from his life of violence and death. A beautiful light in his darkness. And he began to think, Maybe death wasn't his destiny after all. *** Updates every Sunday DISCLAIMER: There is violence and mentions of some heavy topics in this story, there will be no trigger warnings. This is also a first draft, it will be rewritten upon completion. Please show pity on the poorly written moments.

In a house defined by order, Jaz has learned to survive by staying small. Homeschooled and carefully monitored by a father who calls his vigilance protection, she moves through her days according to schedule, each rule meant to keep her safe from a world he believes is waiting to harm her. Her brothers see something different. They see isolation. They see fear disguised as love. And when they try to widen her world, one afternoon unravels into panic, confirming their father's darkest suspicions and fracturing the fragile balance inside the home. As long-buried history begins to surface, it becomes clear that Andrew is not only protecting his daughter, but he is protecting himself from a grief he never survived. And Jaz, caught between safety and suffocation, must confront a truth that threatens to dismantle everything he has built: She is not a second chance. She is not a replacement. She is not his past. She is herself. A quiet, piercing portrait of generational trauma, control born from love, and the difficult work of untangling fear from devotion, this novel asks what it means to protect someone, and when protection becomes its own kind of harm.

Hi!! This is my first time writing a story so it's not very good but I hope someone likes it! Basically A high school tomtord au with some oc's I decided to add to make the story more structure, though they're only side characters. basically, Tord was homeschooled since he moved to England, he mistakes friendship for romance because he doesn't get enough attention, is extremely touch starved and has internalised homophobia in a way. He's not homophobic though. Tom is an emo British teen who acts like drinking is cool because he can't accept he has problems and wants to feel cool. Author relates to characters in a way, deep breathes. badly written - teen author - I'm terrible at english and don't expect any good Norwegian from me please.- sorry in advance for any spelling mistakes, bad memory, inconsistent pacing, ... Completely written by a human and it'll stay that way, thank you ;3 I finished the cover! (I'm proud of myself)

"I'm a twin", he finally blurted out. I repeated myself again, "what do you mean?" "I have a twin", he repeated himself slower as if suddenly we weren't speaking the same language anymore. Too dumbfounded to form a coherent thought, I asked again, "what do you mean you have a twin?" Clearly reaching his patience level, he reached across the coffee table and hit me on my forehead. Suddenly thoughts began pouring into my brain. "Just don't tell me you've been pulling that twin shit where the two of you were switching back and forth without people knowing. Especially to me," I responded, feeling a bit hurt. "I'm a..." Elliot began to say but the empty house was filled with a lively conversation and an angelic laughter. "I'm a fraternal twin", he clarified. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Claire Amherst, youngest of the siblings. Having gone through a traumatic experience in her childhood, she still had a hard time recovering from it. Even after the life changing events that she had to endure when she was little, she still believed in the best of people. Samuel Emerson, drifting through life on a day to day basis, acting more and more reckless as he got older. Many people were envious of him, many wanted to befriend him, and many even called him crazy. He did have everything, looks, power, money, and people did like to talk about him.

    > Half a year had passed since the quiet birthday celebration in Scotland. Time had not moved loudly. The palace halls were still filled with footsteps, lessons, laughter, and royal duties-but something about the family felt different now. Softer in some ways. Wiser in others. Louis was now eight years old. Though he still carried his playful energy and curious nature, there were moments when he seemed calmer than before, as if he was slowly beginning to understand the world around him. Charles II had turned fourteen and had grown noticeably more composed. He carried himself with quiet confidence now, often observing more than speaking, much like his father. Natalie, now eleven, still brought light into every room she entered. Her cheerful spirit remained unchanged, though she too was beginning to mature, balancing kindness with growing understanding. Charlotte had reached fifteen, and with age came a new sense of calmness within her. She no longer seemed uncertain of herself the way she once had. There was confidence in the way she spoke, walked, and carried the responsibilities of being the eldest daughter of the royal family. King Charles I, now thirty-eight, remained strong and respected throughout the kingdom. Though stern at times, his family had begun noticing the quieter moments beneath his serious exterior. And Queen Catherine, at forty-two, continued to be the steady heart of the palace-graceful, intelligent, and always watching over her children with quiet wisdom. The royal family had changed over the past months. Not perfectly. But noticeably.

"Did you say you hate her brother?" "What?!" "Did you say that at your sleepover there?" "No! Mom, you know I don't like saying the word 'hate'" "Just making sure." "It's Lauren's mom again, isn't it?" "Yes." I sighed. Just like that, my friendship I knew was gone. Forever. -------------------- Trying to raise awareness on narcissism. Please acknowledge that this actually happened to me and I just changed names for my protection. I hope you don't have any friends like this. And if you do. Cut yourself off from them completely. That is the best thing. Your reaction is what feeds them.

Mother Earth herself takes three teenagers and turns them into superheroes. "Like I said it's fine, you don't have apolo...gize" Caesar freezes, his eyes widening. Dillon and Amore turn their heads, to what's left Caesar in such dismay. A shining neon green light taking the shape of a woman. "You guys are seeing this too, right?" Dillon asked Amore and Caesar. "Yeah." "Yeah." They answer. "Well good, at least I know that I'm not going crazy," Dillon said. "Hello, my children." The glowing green woman greets. "Um, I already have a mom," Dillon said partly sarcastic, partly scared to death. "Who are you?" Amore asked. "What are you?" Caesar added. "I am Earth." the woman said. "The earth?" Caesar asked. "Yes." She responds. Caesar holds his face in his hands. "This has to be some sorta shared hallucination."
