The reason why I wrote this story is because I went through a rough move. I hope my story reaches out to every teen or child that has difficulties living in their new country. I also made the story so that people that have not experienced a huge and difficult move can understand what it is like in case you have a classmate or a friend that has, so you can understand them a bit better. My story is about a girl named Lisa and her experiences with moving across the world. She lived in San Diego, but shortly after her eleventh birthday her parents decided to move to Denmark. She meets a lot of difficult situations on the journey of learning how to fit in.

"Josie!" She screamed, grabbing Josie's ankle. "Never do that again!!" "Can't promise it." She said, her eyes trained on my face. This story is a mix of sorrow and recovery, Josie suffering from the sadness of her brother and best friends death, and her recovery when she meets someone new, yet vowing never to forget Marley, her brother. After she meets what seems to her like the man of her dreams, she is hit by a sudden blow of reality when she finds out that the man she has been seeing is after her only for her money, and plans to kill her. Josie is devastated, and feels that she will never be able to trust another again. Will she ever meet someone new? Can she recover by what has hit her?

Just some random 'poems' from someone who found out about reality shifting, when draco tok was trending in 2020. I talk about what I have found out after the realisation of what we all are. Maybe it can help someone on their shifting journey.

How do you define "home"?

When this world ends, wether it goes boom or bang or blast and everything disintegrates. The birds, bees, grass and trees wilt and die, the only thing to still be alive on this earth are the clouds. She leaves her life a 17-year-old in a tropical country and ventures on temperate lands completely different from any place she's ever been before. 48 weeks is a compilation of her e-mails to her family, friends, boyfriend, and teachers on her journey and coming-of-age.

What happened after the war with the White Witch was over, the celebration ceased and reality hit?

I decided to translate something I wrote a while ago into French, and certain parts of it seem more poignant now. I will be living abroad in France and Russia for the next year and a half, and this poem speaks of the homesickness that I am sure to feel. It is also about the difficulty in self-expression, even in your own language, and how heightened that is when trying to communicate in a second language.
