Before Pink Diamond rebelled against her fellow Diamonds, the four of them ruled over Homeworld. Pink is finally given a colony, but she soon realizes that it's not what she truly wants. [Major Spoilers for Season 5 of Steven Universe] Pink can't understand why Yellow doesn't trust her. With anything. She's determined to get herself a colony and show the other diamonds what she's made of, but is she really capable of doing it?

Have you ever heard of Moonstone Island? Yea, probably not. Thats because Moonstone Island is a society of low-class gems, making it isolated from the Homeworld and Crystal Gems. With no real leader, Moonstone Island is about to be erased from the maps. LITERALLY. Yellow Diamond is threatening to set a miniature version of the Cluster, named the Shaker, to blow the island to bits. Yellow Diamond couldn't risk having another Crystal Gem incident, right? Well, word spread to Moonstone that Homeworld planned to blow them up. A leader finally had to step up to the plate. And thats when Onyx emerged from the shadows, literally. She decided that she had been on Moonstone the longest, so she should be leader. The colony argued for months, but finally agreed that Onyx should be leader. Onyx, overwhelmed with power, reinvented herself, naming herself Moonstone and making the unknown island an army of lower gems. But, full power over thousands of gems was not enough for Onyx, or Moonstone, or whatever. She needed more... For that, I use big amounts of speculation to fill the gaps the show left when it ended. The action is presented in short chapters and is told almost entirely told from my original characters perspective, the one of gems, and some other alien races, curious about their existance, their origins, and their possibilities beyond serving their superiors.
