LITTLE RUN THROUGH TO UNDERSTAND THE BOOK AFTER READING IF CONFUSED
(DO NOT READ IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO SPOIL THE ENDING) ! ! !
Homicide Skater of the Night follows Destiny, a teenage figure skater who believes she sets her own fate. One night, an accident on the ice ends someone's life - a moment that should have destroyed her. Instead, it awakens something far more disturbing.
What begins as trauma turns into obsession. Destiny discovers an unsettling satisfaction in blood, in the sound of skate blades cutting ice, in the screams that echo through her favorite rink like music meant only for her. Night after night, she finds new victims, carving "art" into the ice with their blood and leaving behind messages only the rink can read: I didn't stop. I won't stop.
When authorities finally catch her, Destiny is killed - but she never realizes it.
Believing she is still alive, her spirit continues skating, killing, and chasing perfection as a paranormal entity bound to the rink. Driven by her need to be the best, the star, the one everyone watches, she keeps committing the same sins she swore she would never abandon. When the truth finally breaks through - that she is dead - Destiny is left with one haunting question:
Why couldn't she stop, even after death?
