Which should be no problem, except his best friend just so happens to be a very charming yet, somewhat oblivious, boy Nicholas Danny Branco. Nick as his friends call him, is just a year older than Scooter seems to be oblivious to his friend's secret crush on him. Somehow, Scooter's mistakes and mumbles go unnoticed by Nick unlike the two boys bold and rather sarcastic friend, Winter Parks. Winter being the first to know about Scooter's little secret. Dezel a bully at school being the next to know along with his deceiving girlfriend, Kat. Suddenly, Scooter's life takes a turn for the better when his mother retrieves him from his abusive father and start moving on away from the past. Yet, as he grows from the past that secret, he has had locked away for years tries slipping through every opening it can find. Scooter afraid that he can't hang onto it much longer.
