Luna always was curious about the world and what it had to offer. That was the reason she studied alchemy, the science of recreating and breaking down matter. Her mother was a well known alchemist for her pure kindness and healing abilities, but when her only daughter died she went far beyond the limits of alchemy with a huge a sacrifice to go with it. Now years later Luna is brought back from the dead, but she notices that she's different now, for example she doesn't age at all and she now has stronger alchemy. She feels as if she doesn't fit in and she wants to fit in with the world again. To achieve this goal she's decided to become a state alchemist and carry on from there. Once, she makes it in she'll find the one they call the Fullmetal Alchemist, because he may be able to help. She feels almost human...

Alchemy is the understanding the structure of matter, decomposing it, and then reconstructing it into something new. There is only one law to abide by with alchemy-equilvilant exchange, is which something can be gained if something of equal value is lost. Those laws can be broken by a Philosopher's Stone. Evelyn Joyce never imagined being the bodyguard of Elric brothers who are a quest, searching for the Philosopher's Stone would yank her into a much more devious plot than she could ever imagine.

In 1899 Van Hohenheim commited the ultimate sin to gain a son and in 1900 he did it again. In 1910 Edward and Alphonse Elric repeated their father in order to get their mother and in the process they unlocked an evil within. In 1911 Amestris is faced with two young, promising alchemist but they haven't a clue what evil they brought upon the country.
