Honami Mochizuki, amateur painter, has started a social media account to show off her work. Unbeknownst to her, account would go viral in a matter of days after a post of hers blew up. And the best part? Her inspiration, @emu.e (えむ絵), finds her work. Emu Otori, everyone's favourite internet-famous pink-haired mural painter, finds an amateur painter's TockTick account that blew up after a post of hers went viral. Determined to help her improve, she starts messaging the painter girl, @hona.e. One step at a time, Honami and Emu become friends, Honami's art improves more and more by the day, and Emu begins to develop a fondness for Honami. They're in love, your honour. Honami Mochizuki is your usual high schooler, though she misses the way things used to be when she was a child. Her new neighbor however, is what you would call...odd. Emu Otori still has 8th graders syndrome, or better put, Chunibyo. In contrast to the name, she believes in magic and lives in her own little world. Honami thought she was charming at first, but a string of events leads to some...interesting things. aka the "love, chunibyo and other delusions" au that came to my head randomly.
