In Celtic myth, honeybees were regarded as having great wisdom and acted as messengers between worlds, able to travel to the Otherworld, bringing back messages from the gods. "Telling the bees" may be a throwback to the idea of keeping the gods informed of human affairs. "You must treat them as you would a member of your own family," Isaac's mother, an apiarist, would often say. Although, she preferred the term "beekeeper." She'd been ridiculously serious about her beekeeping duties, claiming she must keep the family bee-usiness alive. Yeah, Isaac thought the pun was overdone aswell. But when his mother dies an unexpected death, 13 year old Isaac is plagued with the guilt that somehow he's the one to blame. However, he'd like to think the blame is equally divided between himself and the bees. cover by @katherinewitherspoon

She and her 6 friends: Nectar, Love, Peace, Faith, Trust and her precious child Hope will have to go through countless obstacles-including Buzzz and his drone friends-that may waver their friendship. Royal will have to fight hard to save the hive. Also, Hope knows she is meant to fulfill some prophecy, but the burden she bears is very hard. Hope will have to go through a series of tests, including loyalty, love, trust, and faith before there is peace. "Love, trust, and faith will be used, To destroy the evil that bees have fused, And there is hope that there will be, Peace for every kindred bee." This is a progressive book about my journey to being okay. I struggle with my mental health, though I have not been diagnosed by a doctor. I named this book Project Honeybee because I think honeybees are a good metaphor for my mental health. I really like honeybees, they have aesthetic, they're cute, they help make honey which makes people smile. But every time one comes near me I freak out and run away. Anyways, yeah. This is my journey of dealing with my mental health issues. I decided to make a public book about it because it will motivate me to continue it. That is all, enjoy, I guess. Or not. Did you know that Sherlock Holmes was a beekeeper? When he retired to the countryside late in the books written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Sherlock decided to take up beekeeping. How interesting it would be to catch a glimpse into what it actually entails. Sherlock Holmes was stated to have written many articles on various subjects for newspapers and the like, wouldn't it be fascinating to read a serial on that subject written by Holmes himself? I have taken it upon myself to write a set of newspaper worthy articles devoted to this very subject. The catch? I'm writing it as it would have been written by our very favorite consulting detective. I myself, am a beekeeper, so putting myself in Sherlock's shoes if even for a fleeting moment is quite enjoyable. If you love Sherlock Holmes, or care even the slightest about the art of beekeeping, this is for you! Disclaimer: All the facts about beekeeping are completely accurate with the Victorian era, as well as the modern one. Since our beloved detective lived in the former, these sets of article's are written from that perspective. All the facts however, are true to the times.
