The small town resided in Massachusetts, where killing sprees were occurring at the moment. Neither of you knew this, that was until you realized the 𝐚𝐛𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐥. Sadly your life was now in danger because of this new discovery, it's just as they say "Curiosity killed the cat." Yet you weren't completely doomed. There was a ray of hope, that said hope was a bunch of killers who had kidnapped you for "recruiting". What? ། ︶︶ † ︶︶ ། none of these characters belong to me nor the cover.

Everyone in Blackwater knows death follows the woods. As the town coroner, you're supposed to be the one making sense of it - stitching answers into cold flesh, giving grief clean edges, pretending the dead stay dead once they reach your table. Then hikers find a body posed deep in the forest with your name carved into its chest. You don't remember the victim. You don't remember being near Blackwater Road. And you definitely don't remember the thing waiting in the trees. As more bodies appear arranged like offerings, old memories begin clawing their way back to the surface: rain-soaked nights, strange symbols cut into bark, whispers in the dark telling you not to run. The local police think you're hiding something. They're right. You just don't know what it is yet. Because something in Blackwater has been watching you for a very long time. And it remembers you perfectly.

It's about someone who couldn't move on from her first and greatest love so she decided to write a story about it.

Let's say you're a criminology student who lives in the Midwest. Out of curiosity you try to get more information about your friends death. You accidentally end up falling into a rabbit hole and start your own investigation. Trying to solve this mystery you find out how much deeper this mess actually goes. So you just try to stop, multiple times but you still keep getting dragged in. Getting stalked and targeted by 4 murderers wasn't really your goal but oh well! Will you survive after finding out about the paranormal part of this situation or not? Will you accept the help from the "red frowny faced mask fucker" or not? Find out and read! (Slow burn! Mount Chase is the home to the notoriously famous SlenderWoods. The small town of Mount Chase within Penobscot County, Maine is the hometown of Maia Theia. Mount Chase holds only 201 residents and it is also a place where the myths of Slenderman had all began since the creation of the town, putting the residents in the town in an endless unrest of distress and troubling neighbouring towns as well for generations. However, it seems that Maia's generation didn't believe in any of those 'fake' myths. She wasn't any different from them either. Her class would even constantly mock the existence of such a creature. The mocking continued until one by one, students in her school began disappearing, and the students were beginning to feel scared.
