Luz Noceda works at a wonderful store called Hot Topic with her co-workers, King Clawthorne, Hooty, and Edalyn Clawthorne, her manager. But, being in a populated mall, you don't really get to decide who you work by. Amity Blight works at Claire's, the accessory store with her co-workers, Boscha, and Skara, her manager being a woman named Lilith Clawthorne. Though, you only read books for fluff, this one has some angst sprinkled on top. Overworked, understaffed, working hard to reach end's meet. Luz slowly starts to realize that she can fight for herself. Hooty doesn't have to be the joker. King can quit work because he's just eight! And Owlbert can learn to speak up after all these years. [This story is an Owl house Au. It will diverge after escaping expulsion] Minor spoilers from the series Finale. Luz is met by Viney and the other Multi tracks discussing a new development about a statue in the Hexside library. A Statue which has been shrouded in mystery for a long time. It is supposed to be a statue of the founder of Hexside over the years it degraded weirdly fast to the point next to nothing could be made out about them. Suddenly however the statues features were restored and a message could be made out, 'May the person who defeated Grometheus the Fear bringer solve my riddle.' The only problem the statue has no riddle on inscribed anywhere on it. ---As the name currently suggests I am in the process of revising and rewriting this story to make it a bit better in my opinion. Expect some things to change like character designs, and the potential for some things to be expanded upon further, also some events might begin to take place out of order to the normal cannon. But usually she overcomes them and makes everything better. In fact, almost every world has Luz being victorious, happy, and saving everyone. But not this one. In this world there are no Boiling Isles. Just an unforgiving facility for all the freaks and unusual. Those who have unnatural abilities. In this world, there is no saving everyone. And those who are saved might not be sane. Or Luz kills her mom accidently with powers and gets kidnapped and sent to a facility!!! She gets trauma, trauma, and, what's that? That's right! More trauma!
