Perhaps in another timeline, things would have gone as he had planned. Maybe Tommy would have to bear witness to his own brother blowing up the country they had built. That song really sets the mood for this one, and it really reminds me of the dynamic I have written for this particular one shot. This one almost made me cry, tears joy or sadness, who knows. Enjoy!

While this is polyam, VenXiao is more love at first sight, whilst AeVen and Xiaother are more slowburn. The first three chapters are simply for context, and completely skippable if you've played through Liyue's archon and Xiao's story quests. Also, I'm using Aether instead of Lumine because he's the traveler I picked.

I've never adored flowers; I saw them as mere decorations that would eventually wilt, and perish as everything else in this world would as well. Perhaps they were angry at me since I never even stopped by and appreciated their beauty. Perhaps that is why I'm also doomed to have the same unfortunate ending.
