Hopeless Stories

A book of poems I've constructed over the years, and currently, with each poem getting more recent and more interesting. Read till the end to see how a young poet changes both her tone and view of the world, and how she matures her writing. *The first 9 poems are older. Skip ahead if needed.*

Kebahagiaan milik pasangan bahagia, Adrian dan Irene terlalu sempurna dimata dunia. Manakan tidak, segala kasih, cinta, dan kemewahan dikongsi bersama dan mereka saling melengkapi. Kehadiran sepasang cahaya mata kepada pasangan ini menambahkan lagi sinar di dalam kehidupan harian mereka. "We'll stay like this forever, sayang?" -Irene Alvena. "Forever." -Adrian Khaer. Kepercayaan penuh diberi kepada si suami yang sibuk mencari nafkah buat mereka sekeluarga. Ayat-ayat cinta diungkap setiap hari kepada Irene, membuat wanita itu bahagia tanpa risaukan apa-apa. I wasn't born broken. But somewhere between my first breath and the last time I begged the universe for mercy, I cracked. Quietly. Slowly. Until all I heard were the echoes of "not enough." Not pretty enough. Not smart enough. Not brave enough. Not lovable enough. There was never a moment I was truly seen. Not as a daughter. Not as a friend. Not as a woman who kept choosing others over herself- Until there was nothing left of her to choose. Every time I thought, *"This is it. This is the moment someone sees me-*really sees me," I was met with silence, With abandonment dressed in pretty excuses. They always leave, don't they? Right when you begin to believe you might be worthy of staying for. I gave pieces of myself to people who never knew what to do with them. I showed up. Again and again. For everyone. But when I needed someone? Silence. That kind of silence that screams louder than any goodbye ever could. You ever feel like you're screaming into a void, hoping someone-anyone-will hear you? That's been my life. A symphony of unanswered questions and unhealed wounds. I've worn smiles like masks. I've laughed through tears. And I've convinced the world I'm okay, Even when I was drowning in my own thoughts. So I write this not for pity. Not for praise. But for the ones who look in the mirror and wonder if they'll ever be enough for this world- Because I'm still asking too. Was I never enough for love? For loyalty? For peace? Or was I always too much of something and too little of everything? If you've ever been the second choice, the afterthought, The one who loved too deeply and received too little- Then this book is yours as much as it is mine. Let's bleed together. Let's heal-if healing even exists. But above all... Let's ask the questions no one dares to answer. Was I Never Enough?

A series of poems

A young widower comes to terms with his lack of faith as a young woman looks for the love she so desires. This is a sequel to Spiritual Networking.

The story is about a girl and the challenges she faces from the time she is born till the time of her death and how she overcomes all her challenges and proves the real meaning of feminism and how she could have surpassed if only she was treated as equal as a man. The women is brought down by the society and by her own mom but she doesn't lose hope. All she remembers in her hard time is the voice of her elder sister who was murdered on the name of honor as she wanted to marry a man of her choice and not the one who she was committed even before she was born.

Bits and pieces of my broken heart poured into words. Random thoughts running on my mind out of which some doesn't even make sense to me. Some real and some fictional. You never know the difference between them two. Cover by @ZaraCrimson315
