After the events of the second season, Hope is worried when she discovers that Lizzie has run away leaving only a note behind saying that she will be back at the end of the summer. The tribrid ends up making an open question about her relationship with the blonde twin. (Nothing that happened in season three happened here.)

She has no qualms about protecting this amazing tribrid girl at all costs, even from the human terrors at school, and the emotional terror that for some reason, no one can see she is in.
