As Briar spends time with Hopper she, shockingly, develops feelings for the cute green toad and plans to do her whole summer "To Do list" with Him which makes her become attached to him and Hopper becomes attached to her. but as this happens, Briar's decision comes to an end after summer break; To follow her destiny, and not be with Hopper or to become Hopper's Lovely wife in his story but have a short amount of lifespan she gets before she no longer exists?.
