But then, they hear news about a massive, well-coordinated Scotti invasion of Araluen. They also hear about remnants of the Red Fox Clan. Those fanatics still don't want to see a woman ruling the Kingdom. Can Will and Maddie with the Herons succeed in holding back the Scotti once more? Halt O'Carrick thought life had finally settled down for a bit. Will was back in Araluen and healing from his trauma, the King had revoked his banishment and he hadn't been called on too many life-threatening situations. Life was great, right? When a fire in the middle of the night forced him and Will to escape their tiny cabin in the woods, a deeper plot is discovered which involves his dear apprentice. Now, with the help of Gilan and Crowley, Halt must overcome the past and get to the bottom of this conspiracy, before it catches up to him and Will. Meanwhile, back in Araluen, Alyss struggles through intense physical, mental, and emotional healing under the watchful eyes of Halt and Pauline, and with the help of her other friends.

2021 Update: I'm back and will be updating this on a semi consistent basis! When the Kingdom is in danger, its citizens look to the King for solutions. And the Kings looks to his Rangers. When a conspiracy is unrooted in Araluen, King Duncan turns to Halt, Will, Horace and Leanna, the kingdoms first female Ranger, to set things straight. But what seemed like an ordinary mission soon spirals out of control as the conspirators gain footholds in the south. Rangers are pushed out of their Fiefs, Barons thrown out of their castles, a country divided in turmoil. Can our heros once again save Araluen from this looming threat, or will King Duncans rule come to a violent end?

You've heard of their adventures, of the wars, of their accomplishments. You know where they've traveled. But what about the parts you don't see? The parts of their lives that have been untold?

A collection of What If? Stories where I do my best to torture Will as much as possible! Most of these will be re-written scenes of the books about what I think would have made them a bit more... interesting. Requests and Ideas are welcome!
