One of her professors at the time has been recruited by Gellert Grindelwald, whose task was to train her in dark arts so when she graduates, she will be ready to join Grindelwald in his war to break the Statue of Secrecy. Aria completely unaware, undertook the lessons and was made to swear not to reveal this to anyone. A year later her professor got uncovered and thrown into Azkaban prison, while Aria fled Norway with her parents and gone into hiding. For her 5th year she got transferred into Hogwarts, where her parents thought she will be safe due to Dumbledore being there. There she meets the young Tom Riddle who takes interest in her and throughout the years they grow closer together. But with her new powers and truth about her ancestry she will be faced with ultimate decision whether to stay in the light or stray into darkness.

Inside Harry Potter is a fragment of Voldemort's soul. Sometimes it may give him glimpses into the dark wizard's mind; however, coupled with the locket, it becomes far more malicious. There is only so long he can carry so much of a shattered soul before he becomes darkened himself. Especially if said soul is actively trying to corrupt him.
