Their parents warn them not to be so optimistic, that humans can be unpredictable at best, but they don't have the heart to tell them their humans might be startled by them at first. After all, their children have watched them grow, cry, laugh, and even guided them through it all. They don't want their children to be told they're monsters on a day so special, but they can't deny the risk any longer. How could you? They are the guardians who let their children become corrupted, cruel, and cursed. On their Introduction Day, they strike a deal with their humans and offer them power. Only greed keeps them bound. Over time, however, something else can form. There is always the light of the Guardians within them, even in the darkest of the Dark Ones. After all, if their human dies, so do they.
