A book much funnier than the title would imply... Archer Dearden thought he knew himself. Social outcast, unconfessed anger issues, dead parents, an awful excuse for a brother. Those were the parameters that served as the confines of his world. Well, and also one other-teensy-thing. He had powers. Not like Superman or Spidey-god knows he would never be what you would call responsible-but closer to Magneto or . To put it simply, his powers were not of the 'good guy' variety. He saw himself as a monster, fell right in with what his father told him of the repercussions of exposure. He hid, kept no friends, pushed people away. Until a series of things happened, one of which was named Laci Greene, and the only reason she wasn't as gone as everybody else was the fact that she just wouldn't let him go. Now, confronted with conflicting parental identities and a violently shifting self-perspective, what will Archer do when confronted with a danger he just can't face alone?
