During the Cannes Film Festival, a mysterious virus turns the city into a zone of chaos. The streets fall silent, screams rise from every corner, and the first infected begin to overrun the Croisette. At the Majestic Hotel, a symbol of luxury and glamour, a group of survivors finds themselves trapped: a couple in crisis (with the mistress hiding in a neighboring room), an authoritarian old billionaire, a school class on a field trip, a heroic firefighter, a chambermaid full of secrets, newlyweds, a group of influencers, a world-famous actress, and a screenwriter who seems to know more than she should. Their only goal: stay alive in a hotel filled with zombies... and even deadlier secrets. But when alliances break, betrayals erupt, and the virus spreads within the Majestic itself, one thing becomes clear: to survive, they won't just have to fight the dead. They'll have to learn to watch their backs. "A series of survival, tension, revelations... and impossible choices." ~ AMIX

"Whispers in the Dark" is a collection of standalone horror stories where reality twists, and nothing is as safe as it seems. These are the moments you never speak of - The figure watching from the window when you think you're alone. The dream you both share but never remember the same way. The smile from across the street that's meant only for you. Each story peels back the thin layer between normal life and the unspeakable things hiding underneath - the ones waiting for night to fall, for everyone else to stop looking. Because sometimes, what you think is just in your head... is already inside your house. Read at night. If you dare. But don't look too long at the shadows. They might be looking back.

Beberapa tahun yang lalu terjadi hal yang tak bisa diduga. Ketika pesta perayaan yang bahagia, tiba-tiba semuanya menjadi gelap dalam satu detik saja. Sihir hitam tersebar kemana-mana. Memanggil dan menggoda para makhluk tak kasad mata. Tapi yang paling ditakuti hanya satu. Perempuan berwajah pucat dan bermata merah darah. Makhluk transparant itu seakan tak puas menumpahkan darah. Yaah, itu sudah berlalu. Sekarang aku bersama sekumpulan ghost hunters. Lalu apakah akan berakhir seperti itu saja?? Maaf Update tidak menentu dikarenakan author sibuk mengikuti acara. Thank you for reading!

The boarding house on Bellweather Lane should have been condemned years ago. Its windows have gone blind with age. Its hallways breathe after midnight. And at the end of the second-floor corridor stands a stained glass door that glows even during power outages, spilling bruised colors across the walls like something alive beneath the paint. Six strangers move in anyway. Cheap rent has a way of silencing instinct. Maren Dorsey arrives last, carrying two overpacked suitcases and a lifetime of exhaustion into a house that feels aware of her before she ever crosses the threshold. The other tenants are young, funny, grieving, restless. People are trying to outrun loneliness, debt, mistakes, and themselves. Then they learn the rules. If you hear a laugh that isn't yours, close your eyes. Count to ten. Don't breathe. Don't open them. Pray. Nobody takes them seriously. At first. Soon, the mirrors stop keeping pace with reality. Water begins climbing upward through drains. Laughter leaks from the vents at impossible hours. A miniature replica of the boarding house appears in Maren's room, changing whenever nobody is looking directly at it. And somewhere inside the walls, something is learning. Watching. Waiting. When the first tenant dies, the house changes. The doors lead to the wrong places. Reflections begin answering back. Names appear where no one wrote them. Every rule hides another lie. As terror spreads through the halls, Maren uncovers a truth buried beneath decades of disappearances and forgotten rituals: The house was never haunted. The house was taught. And whatever waits behind the stained glass door has been expecting her for far longer than she's been alive. This is not a ghost story. This is a story about a house that learned how to hunger. ©️ Relle H

This is based off a dream i had a year ago, that i woke up in a panic from and remember EVERYTHING about it and writing it down immediately. The ones ive dreamt about are the first two, Room 153 and Room 846. i am hoping to write more "rooms" as chapters if this is able to reach a wider audience and kicks off well! To explain the whole concept of this 'book', this is based on a horrifying dream i have had and it is also based on psychology due to 'mind tricks' in this book. You'll see what i mean later on... You are the main character, this is in first person. You are a female, aged 17 named Sydney Lane. Happy reading fellow reader! PS - COMMENTS AND REVIEWS ARE REALLY APPRECIATED. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO JOT DOWN ANY MISTAKES I HAVE MADE OR IMPROVEMENTS I CAN MAKE! THANK UUU

In a world where the paranormal is an accepted and feared reality, Veil Archivist Elara Veyn is sent to investigate Black Hollow Manor-an ancient estate where entire expeditions have vanished without explanation. Hidden deep within the mist-shrouded emptiness of Hollow Vale, the manor is far more than a haunted house. Its shifting corridors, impossible architecture, and whispering walls conceal a terrifying truth tied directly to Elara's bloodline. As she descends deeper into the living house, Elara uncovers generations of buried secrets, forgotten Keepers, and an ancient force known only as Hollow-a sentient entity that feeds on memory, identity, and fear. But Black Hollow Manor is not merely a prison. It is a door. And when Elara finally confronts the nightmare at its heart, she discovers that destroying one evil may awaken something far worse. Black Hollow Manor is a chilling five-chapter paranormal horror mystery filled with psychological dread, ancestral secrets, shifting realities, and a final revelation that leaves the terror far from over. Some doors should never be opened... but once they are, they remember the way back.

When three school friends discover an unlabeled VHS tape in a dusty lost-and-found box, they expect a few cheap scares. Instead, they unleash a children's show that was never meant to be seen. Each episode knows too much. Each question digs deeper. And the rule is simple: Don't tell anyone... or your episode begins. I thought the first recording was a nightmare. I wanted to believe the voices were coming from a neighbor's apartment. A glitch in the app. Anything except what I already knew deep down: the voices were inside my bedroom. Last night, I forced myself to sleep again with the recorder running. At exactly 3:12 a.m., it captured another conversation. "Is he still asleep?" "Yes." "He moved." "He does that sometimes." The voices whisper around my bed every night while I sleep, speaking about me like I'm something they're watching. Something they're waiting for. And the worst part? They seem afraid of me waking up. Now every sound in my apartment feels wrong. Floorboards creak when no one is there. Shadows linger too long in corners. I keep catching movement beside my bed just before I fall asleep. I don't know what's happening to me. But whatever visits my apartment at 3:12 a.m. is becoming more comfortable... and I think it's starting to realize I can hear it. A psychological horror story told through recordings, sleepless nights, and journal entries. If you wake up at 3:12 a.m.-keep your eyes closed.
