MARGARET RESURRECTION PREFACE Along an old, dusty road flanked by towering plane trees stood an ancient house with a large garden. The darkness of the road, combined with the wind rustling through the branches, created an eerie, indistinct sound, giving the road a frightening and unsettling atmosphere. The recently restored and renovated house, with its beautiful garden, looked like paradise, exactly the kind of place anyone would dream of living in. A wealthy man, descended from a family of lords, had bought the house for his wife so they could enjoy their summer vacations. However, after about a month, terrifying events occurred, and he was forced to leave. The story began when Elisa, his daughter, noticed a wardrobe with its door ajar. She walked over and peeked inside. In the corner sat an old, worn-out, handmade doll. She picked it up, glanced at it briefly, then tossed it into the corner of the room with disdain. As she turned to leave for another room, the wardrobe door slammed shut with a loud bang. startled, Eliza quickly turned around to see what had happened. To her surprise, the wardrobe door was now closed, and the doll had vanished. Frightened, she rushed out of the room, raced down the stairs, and fled to the lower floor...
