Alesana's father has been murdered. Her mother was drinking until she was unconscious. Her social life was nonexistent and her life was falling apart. She's moved place to place, state to state and everything is only getting worse. She's self harming and even sneaking her mother's alcohol from time to time. She's still grieving and she just doesn't know what to do. This is her third school in a year. And she's hoping it'll be quiet and as peaceful as possible. Little does she know, her life will be turned upside down by a mysterious boy with midnight hair.

I didn't ask for this. But really, who does? Being stuck in the middle of your imagination for crashing your dad's funky car wasn't my fault completely. So, instead of going home unharmed, I wake up in 'Limbo', whatever that is. I need to 'let go' and 'chill out'. Yeah, right. I mean-who chills out when they're being chased by demons and the ninth nuclei, as well as falling in love? Yeah, well if you want to hear my story, then listen close, because it's a bumpy ride.

When Ashlyn Grey is pulled from her dreams to a science lab stranded in the middle of the Arctic, she and the others are faced with the difficult task of renewing a whole planet. Ashlyn has no idea what to do, and the longer she waits to come up with a plan, the more everyone will suffer.
