When Scarlett finds out she's pregnant with Matt's child, rather than tell him, ruin both of their lives with a child, or get an abortion, she decides to break up with him. Parting their separate ways, a brokenhearted Scarlett has her baby, and Matt becomes a well known horse trainer in Wellington, who is known to be extremely talented, and have talented kids and horses, but also known as a harsh and cruel person. When Scarlett's new boyfriend's business gets transferred down to Wellington, she starts her daughter up with riding lessons at Matt's barn, not that she knows it's his barn. What will happen when Matt discovers that the girl he absolutely adores, mother is his beloved ex-girlfriend? Will he be able to save her from her abusive boyfriend?

At one point in time, Hailey Love was both a competitor and a trainer in the equestrian world. She was a veteran in the all-around show circuit, which included both Western and English disciplines, but new to training and showing her own horses in those competitions. After an unfortunate jumping accident at a high-level show jumping competition that resulted in the death of her beloved horse and partner and what could have been (and quite possibly escalate to be) a life-changing injury, she vowed to never show in that area of competition again. For a little more than seven months, Hailey completely disappeared from the eyes of the equestrian world, as both a trainer and a competitor. Eventually, Hailey returned to her home town, and home barn, to try to start over and heal from what remains of the wounds she suffered, whether they be physical or not. As the WEF circuit begins, so does a horse show gossip page titled "Rumor Has It". Can Mary-Kate figure out who's behind it before the circuit ends? But will it cost her friendship and relationships along the way? I am by no means an author. I took a writing class this past school year where we wrote a novel, and I thought I would share it!

I hear a rustling in the leaves behind me and turn. For a few seconds, I'm staring at the most beautiful mare I'd ever seen. She looks amazing, a sparkling dappled gray mare. Then she turns and runs. She has a river of chestnut mane flying behind her as she gallops through the trees. She skids around a left turn and disappears into the woods. ---------- Amber is a camper in her uncle's summer horse camp. One day, she spots a mysterious mare in the woods, but is forced to forget about it with the upcoming show. Coming from a low-key public middle school, it's a big change. She is excited to start off fresh, but she's worried when getting good grades is harder than she thinks and making enemies is easier than making friends.
