This story is about two twin sisters in the woods and they find a mysterious horse at night and they call it Dark Shadow, but why is it called this way?

This is a once a week journal that i will write about me and my long journey to be a great rider with the help of my horse star

Simone is a typical 14 year old girl. She goes to school, has a decent amount of friends, just typical, boring things. Though, she soon moves from her hometown of Albany, NY to Oklahoma City, OK when her parents die in an awful car accident, and she has to go and live with her aunt and uncle. Simone isn't used to the barn life, taking care of chickens, pigs, horses, and more "filthy" animals that roam around the rural part of town. Soon, Simone is introduced to a new horse her aunt had found out in the wild named Starlight. A beautiful albino horse with lots of love to offer. It's up to Simone to train Starlight to be the best race horse there is within a month and win the Oklahoma Summer Race, or else Starlight will be sold away to their neighbors, the Oaksons. Will Simone win the race and prove that Starlight isn't the worthless horse her neighbors claim to be? Or will she lose, both the race and Starlight? Find out by reading through Starlight and Simone's journey together throughout the fields of Oklahoma.

DISCLAIMER! This book is an idea I came up with years ago and it has some features of the most popular horse movies going and this book does not have a set time period because it is from the point of view of Wicker so it doesn't matter if the racehorse part of the story isn't accurate to now-a-days racing or the war time parts accurate to the present and past. I've written this for the pure joy of it and I don't intend for it to be accurate as this is a made up story. Please enjoy!!!
