Chapter 3 - "The Watchers" Lilly discovers the town's hidden order - a small group of townspeople who remember the herd's victims and keep watch over the graves. They claim they can contain the curse, but their methods are as cruel as the herd itself. Chapter 4 - "The Ribbon and the Gate" Lilly returns to the cemetery, searching for Mae's spirit - or maybe herself. There she finds that the herd isn't random; it's drawn to unfinished grief, to those who can't let go. Her mother's true involvement comes to light. Chapter 5 - "The Hollow Bride" Lilly begins transforming - her dreams filled with galloping hooves, her breath turning cold. The herd calls her by name, inviting her to join them as their new guide. Her humanity flickers like candlelight.
