A young child sat on the edge of the bench in front of the handiwork store, she had lost her parents while they were looking for a bed for the small girl. She just kept humming the same tune over and over, it was the song her grandfather would hum to her if ever frightened, but he was not there to help cool the nerve. The girl had just hopped off the bench as she bumped into a young boy only a year older than her. "I am so sor-." She was cut off while she stared at his eyes gazing at her. She had gulped as she sat back down on the bench scooting back. "Are you going to buy anything?" He asked coldly as she shook her head. The young boy scuffed walking back into the store. As the day passed the girl still sat there, the sun going down now, the young boy walked out of the store with a older woman behind him, she stared at the girl, "Are you okay darlin-." "Eomma she is homeless, let her be." The boy spoke as his mother ruffled his hair. That night two of them brought her home, for dinner and sleep. The boy had laughed and smiled, which amazed the young girl knowing he had that side. He was sending her mixed signals. The following day the girl found her parents and all was good, the boy and girl kept seeing each other till middle school, when the girl moved away. Years following they returned for high school, the girl, still getting mixed signals from the boy, Jung Hoseok.
