Imię dziewczyny było tak niespotykane, że każdemu, kto je słyszał, wydawało się być zbyt dziwne, żeby je kiedykolwiek powtarzać. Bo przecież zdaniem zwyczajnego, pospolitego człowieka o zwyczajnym, pospolitym imieniu zwracanie się do kogoś per ''Eta'' było czymś nienaturalnym. Imię to nie było skrótem, było po prostu jedną literą alfabetu greckiego. Matka dziewczyny uwielbiała Grecję, jej zwyczaje, historię, od zawsze marzyła o tym, żeby tam kiedyś polecieć, ale nigdy jej się to nie udało. Chyba z powodu problemów finansowych. Zmarła w szpitalu, a obok jej łóżka leżała kolejna książka napisana w całości w tym ukochanym, dodającym kobiecie otuchy języku. Książka nie opowiadała o niczym specjalnym, dlatego nie ma sensu dłużej się nad nią zastanawiać. Człowiek mógłby powiedzieć, że była symbolem niespełnionych marzeń i braku sprawiedliwości, ale mógłby też uznać, że to głupia nadinterpretacja. Dlatego może lepiej dla wszystkich jest zmienić wątek.
