Annabeth always had a weak heart. She was skinny thin and knew that a heart-attack could mean certain death for her. Still, she never worried about it. Until one day Annabeth does get a heart-attack. She's scared and alone in a hospital and needs a friend more than ever. But will someone give her hope? Or will she give up on herself?

A brother's devotion to his sick sister and it may be more than what is required. This is based of the song, "This Is Not The End" by Aviators. Two-shot. Might turn into a full story.

This is merely a short piece of work I had written a couple of a weeks back. I am quiet fond of it. The characters aren't meant to resemble/depict anybody in particular. It is a general fiction, short story about a young girl named Elkie that is hospitalised after an attempt. This is my first story posted here so I hope at least one of you enjoy it... well you don't even have to enjoy it but actually stumble upon it and decide to read it. Thank you xo

"He wanted revenge, but what did I ever do to you to deserve this cruelty?" Those words constantly rang in his ears, day and night, morning and evening, making him feel worse by the second. She'd given him no reason to have been rewarded with what he'd done. He deceived her. Why? Just to help his twin get his revenge?
