A 17 year old girl named Tamashī once had a normal but bad life. She always got bullied and got F's in class and her parents never listened to her and they did what they thought was best for her. The only people that cared about her was her little sister named Joy and her best friend Josh. But when she thought it couldn't get any worst a unknown toxic explosion kills or infects everyone in Tokyo Japan and possibly the world. Her loved ones are also killed leaving her all alone in this cold dark world. Will she find her way to the light or be left on earth to suffer.

Violet never believed anybody would come along to save her from drowning in the pain and grief called her life, until Ryker runs into her, literally. Ryker is a football jock that every girl adores yet he knows what its like for Violet, because he has secrects of his own. As he strives to reach out to Violet a undeniable attraction pulls them together but the Queen Bee of the school Missy threatens to break Violet as she harasses her to a dangerous life style.
