Tony is tired of people assuming he has no brains, because of his Phys Ed Degree. He decides to do long distance learning. He sees a seminar run by Dr Spencer Reid, the two become friends. The BAU comes up with a case that could eventually include naval personnel, Spencer knows who to contact.

Spencer Reid and Aaron Hotchner always seemed to have a strange sort of tension between them. The rest of the BAU always assumed it was because of their "shared daddy issues", as Rossi would say, but what happens when it turns out that the two had dated in highschool and through college? Through the means of some light harassment and no small amount of threats and blackmail, the BAU team is about to find out. AKA: I decide that no one in the team has uncomfortable age gaps :) and then I explore how Reid and Hotch's childhood trauma would fuck them up as teens ;)

Logically it made no sense, Aaron had a kid of his own, would he not sympathize with his father for wanting to have a relationship with his son? Spencer finds comfort in the older man, even more so now than ever. Everytime his phone buzzes with a notification from William Reid, Aaron is always there to comfort him and distract him from the burning hole in his back pocket.
