James March falls in love in 1926 with a flapper and one day believes she is also seeing the greatest screen lover: Rudolph Valentino, which is not the case. Valentino suddenly goes missing and James is forced to commit suicide when he is faced with the police. His lover moves out of the hotel but is reunited with him in 2021 due to her immortality.
