A little insight about this story... This is of course a fanfiction which means that the idea, story and characters are made by the real author/mangaka, which is Mr. Araki. Natalie "Nat" Baker was a great jockey. Starting at the age of 6, she had a rough start, but grew to possibly be the greatest female jockey in all of Europe. But there were 2 people she could never beat: Diego Brando and her best friend Johnny Joestar. She and Johnny became more than just friends, but he left for America soon after. After his accident, their relationship changed forever. She hadn't seen him in years, nor had she looked for him, or Diego. Until they signed up for the Steel Ball Run, Nat racing for her family and her own problems. But the race wasn't anything like what they thought it would be. All the participants who knew the truth, including Nat, would have their lives changed forever. Or taken away. Falling in love and fighting for her life weren't things she expected to do during the race. But things changed drastically that September in San Diego. For her, and for a lot more people.
