I'd felt a rap of anger deep in my gut and I was livid that I'd looked all dowdy and dull. If only the situation I'd been witnessing that afternoon was to be the least of my worries, little did I know, that, that girl would trigger a whole sequence of devastating events that would rip my life into pieces. '' When Jodie is faced with the ultimate betrayal, she has to pick herself up and start again. Jodie's ex, Judd made a catastrophic mistake. Pepper, her loyal friend and new roomie, is extremely concerned about Jodie's wellbeing and intervenes before her mental health is unfixable. One day on her commute she notices something that will change things up...A letter on a train. Jodie decides to reply to the train letter and is surprisingly intrigued with what happens next. She finds she is writing to a fascinating stranger and has found more than just a connection with words. She becomes someone's person again and she likes it. Just as things get good for Jodie, Judd comes back on the scene, however little does Judd know she really has moved on. Developing romantic feelings, for not one man in her life, but two and also a mystery man she writes too regularly. Judd is determined to fight for Jodie's love and attention once again, and this time, for keeps. He really was the love of her life, but there are now, three other contenders who also want her badly too. Can love grow through an old fashioned system in the modern world? Can she really trust words alone, and how will she feel when she finally discovers the real identity of the author to the letters? How will she choose between the mystery man and the two other gorgeous men, trying to close in on her heart also? Will she continue to resist Judd, or choose him and forget the past?

Once there was a story, and it went like this. Once upon a time, two boys in a village became inseparable. They laughed and they played and they ran. No god nor mortal could ever recreate it. One day, a traveler, no, a monster came along. He played and laughed with them. And little by little, the monster made them fall apart. // Or, searching for cupcake shops and childhood.
