It is the oldest story in the universe: someone meets the Doctor. It is the start of an exciting life, filled with adventures, travels, new planets and species. But it always ends one day. For the Doctor, it is the start of a grieving period. But it was different this time. Yes, he lost his friends, but in a way, he also lost his family. He'd been moping on a cloud for months when finally, she came along. She said that one word that mattered so much to him: 'Pond'. They fought snowmen together. And then she died. The Doctor vowed to find her again, for he had already met her once before in the future, and he would protect her. The only problem was, he couldn't t find her. And the search was taking its toll. He became moody, and grumpy. He became obsessed. But then someone else met him... * The story takes place after the Christmas special of series 7 (when the Doctor met Clara in Victorian London) and before the start of the second half of series 7. I'll try to be as true to the show as I can, but if you notice a mistake, please tell me. I do not own any characters that have appeared on the show (all credit goes to the BBC).
