After being the sole survivor of a Cemetery Wind attack, Penelope Blythe fled off the grid and hid in isolation for nearly five years until one fateful day a wounded Drift stumbled across her path. Feeling sympathy for his plight, she provided Drift some shelter and nursed him back to health. However in doing so Penelope is now caught up in the crossfires of a battle between flesh and metal including old enemies who want to properly tie up loose ends.
