Sunlight of the Sand Tribe has been trying to settle down and enjoy her life ever since the Storm of Fire ended, but with everything in the Tribe changing, she has found this far from easy. After her mother, Daylight, was banished from the Tribe, Sunlight's relationship with her father, and the Sand Tribe's leader, has been strained. Sunlight decides that it's time to leave to seek out something else, someone she can actually trust, her long lost mother, Daylight. And maybe, on the way, she can find a way accomplish a second impossible task and take back her biggest regret: her own evolution. This story is set directly after the first Warrior Eevees, "the Storm of Fire" and I recommend you read it first. You do not have to read Warrior Eevees #2, "Pearl's Shadow," to fully enjoy this story.

This story is about you, an Eevee. You decide your own path. The friends you make. What choices you make and depending what path you lead yourself down, what Eeveelution you will be. So jump on in a decide what path YOU will follow.

While being badly injured from a previous skirmish against other bio-ink, they head to the nearby town where they find a injured Absol, they stay in a wrecked home till the egg hatches. Sasha Goldenrod is a dark type trainer from the Unova region, with her Liepard, Umbreon and Houndoom, she and her mother move to the Alola region. After a run in with one of the students from the pokemon school, she starts to attend the school. There, she meets the fire type trainer, Kiawe. Kiawe isn't so sure about the dark type trainers pokemon, or the fact that all three of Sashas pokemon are aloud out of their pokeballs. But this slowly turns into trust, and a small crush on Sasha.
