Ann had been living in a rebel sky island colony with her best friend Raina ever since her parents went missing when she was 5 years old. Now she is 15 and hasn't gotten any closer to finding out what happened to her parents. But when one of the royal governments troops finds their island, Ann and Raina must leave everything they have ever known and find a new home.
