I am a housekeeper in England. My job is fairly easy, clean the house, dust the books, wash the tea cups, and get out before 7pm. The only odd thing is I have never met my enployer. All I can gather is: No kids. Never home. And a strange obsession with Shakespeare. Oh well :)

When your Grandmother suddenly falls ill, it becomes your responsibility to look after her jobs and remaining contracts, including running the housekeeping business smoothly in her absence. Studying business management in university, it's not uncommon to take a year (or more) out to gain work experience in your desired field and this is a perfect opportunity (although in unfortunate circumstances). Not interested in current pop culture, you get entrusted with the general housekeeping and light catering for 7 young men who your Grandmother talks about oh so fondly. And so begins your journey into the housekeeping business and your encounter with 7 young men along the way.

I've only worked as a housekeeper for little more than a year, but in that time, so much has happened that I could write a book about it. So that is what I am going to do. These are the best, the worst and the down right crazy memories I have of my time as a housekeeper. There will be drama and a question to end all questions. Do you dare read on? I'm telling you now, I'm naming no names, and I'm not giving you the name of the hotel either. All names are fake. Warning: there will be swearing (though I will try to keep that to a minimum) and some sexual themes (that can't be helped by the nature of some of these stories).
