Helaena Targaryen has always been different. What begins as an innocent childhood friendship slowly grows into something deeper as the two grow alongside one another. But in the Targaryen family, even love cannot escape politics. With marriage alliances looming, old resentments sharpening, and the Iron Throne threatening to divide a family already beginning to fracture, Helaena and Aelyr must find a way to build a life of their own amid dragons, duty, ambitious men, and a court determined to decide their futures for them. A story of growing up, finding understanding, family, healing, and a love that begins long before either of them knows what to call it.

The only woman Jacaerys Velaryon ever had room for in his heart was his mother. The day he met Breyna Blackwood his heart grew a bit bigger. Breyna Blackwood is overwhelmed with joy at the birth of her brother, Benjicot Blackwood. The small girl didn't know that the joy and light in Raventree Hall would be short lived and her life would change in a quick instant. Jacaerys Velaryon was Breyna Blackwood's hero and she was his. This story is based on HBO's House of the Dragon and Game of Thrones. I do not own any of the characters, except my own (Breyna, etc.). The story follows the events from House of the Dragon and the books written by George R.R. Martin.
