Short story created/inspired from a Prompt given as the final assignment for a semester long writing class. Extremely uncut and needs editing (if I ever find motivation to go back through it heh)- and has lots of rough edges as it was written all in one night *woohooo deadlines** I'm not much of a writer, but I find it fun to explore characters and storytelling in different ways. This idea was interesting to build around--- I ended up liking (some) of the characters quite a lot.

A woman is uprooted from her urban neighborhood by her husband when he discovers an add for a home in a health community. After realizing he and his family struggled with unhealthy living habits he figured the health community would be the perfect place to keep he and his family in shape. The wife suffers from bipolar tendencies and is not happy with the move. upon moving into the home the wife finds somewhat of a journal/Diary and enthralls herself into it.. Reality and fantasy has always been hard for her to decipher it will her imagination cause the end of her marriage??..

When they arrive at the courthouse, he doesn't get out right away, and he doesn't turn off the car either. But he does at least look at her finally, and she feels vulnerable so close under his gaze. "There's no room for cold feet, Celeste." He says, taking one final drag from his cigarette before tossing the butt out of the open window. "Don't embarrass me." Was he this cold last night as well? She can't help but think. Am I that desperate?
