Jeneel Howlett, daughter of the notorious Wolverine, Is a physicist/Inhuman working on the theory of Special Relativity. When one day long time friend/colleague Tony Stark calls her up to help him build a time machine to which she of course say yes. After the machine is finished something happens and Jeneel is transported back in time to 1944. she is out of time with no way to get home an on top of that she is surrounded by none other than 107th infantry. HOw will she get home and will she even want too?

This is a story about Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes, told from the perspective of a man who was in the army with Bucky, telling his granddaughter Penny about his experiences as a bedtime story. Penny's speech is written in italics.

Charlotte Red is eccentric at best, unconventional at worst. Working as the head technician of Stark Industries' R&D Department since she was sixteen, and with two PhD's under her belt already sets her apart from most other nineteen-year-olds- not that she enjoys standing out- and her work ethic only serves to further that divide. Neither was making the acquaintance of two young men from Brooklyn by almost falling on top of them in an alleyway or any of the events that followed thereafter. With no way home, she quickly realises this is her one chance to be normal, to reinvent herself as who she truly wishes to be. But she's Charlotte Red, and her life was never supposed to be normal.

Peggy and Steve have been seeing each other for 2 months. When Peggy decides to go on a mission with the Howling Commando's, the mission doesn't go as they thought it would. They forget simple things, like that Steve is only twenty-eight, that he fought in World War II, and that he is most certainly not okay. A battle in Germany brings up some dark memories for our Captain. And he realises that there are some things, you can never forget. The World is at war. Men go off to fight, and the women stay home to tend to the kids. That's the way it's always been. How it should stay, right? According to every other hot blooded American male, yes. But to June Murphy? Hell no! Murphy lost her brother to the war when he was drafted. She just wants to finish what he started.
