Hiccup is 9 years old he finds a dragon and names him toothless but hiccup being social awkward he runs away with toothless to a better place

Dawn is a dragon with a strong heart, she longs for a human bond, the one thing Pure of Heart fury's are destined to do. Yet, with her parent's high expectations, and her own motivation to get out there rather young, they don't think she's ready. To prove them wrong, she flies to the human world, and meets the first human. The first one she will ever bond with. Nelson is a sailor; he has been searching for a break from the dreaded war. Anything to distract his mind, and secretly dragons. Tales were told of the beasts years ago, and he always longed to meet a dragon. Upon seeing Dawn, their two paths cross, and they find themselves fascinated by each other. Dawn has the perfect bond she'd always hoped for, and Nelson has the perfect distraction to study, what could go wrong?
