I knew I was different when I was a curious ten-year-old girl who sneaked out of home just to see the world I have been protected from. I managed to establish that I am different from the other kids in the neighborhood. One: I was never allowed to leave the house by myself like the other kids. Two: I was not a human, or a werewolf, or a shifter, or a vampire, or other creatures like the kids I saw who were playing together. That was the moment I realised that my father has been keeping a very big secret from me. My name is Melinda Caesar, and this is my story.
